Simli Lake
Melting snow and natural springs
always make their way up to the plain land, to make their selves unending retrieve. So, the Simil lake is also a result
of the melting ice and natural springs coming from Murree Hills . Simili Lake is
one of those gems which lies secreted amid the mountains. The region is so famous
for its beautiful surroundings. The
amazing views of the legendary Simli

The dam is constructed over the
lake in 1971 to 72. Along the Dam construction program the testing grouting programme is also carried
out. The stored water supplied to the areas of Islamabad for drinking purposes.
It is composed part of the scheme for Bulk Water Supply for Islamabad, under
CDA of Pakistan.
The scenic beauty of the lake and Simly Dam is the
highest priority for many visitors. The Simly Dam is located 30 kilometres east
of Islamabad via Lehtrar Road or Bhara Kahu Town. The most easy way to Simly
dam is from Convention Center Islamabad. It would just take 10 to 15 minutes
drive on a road towards Murree which indicates to the right and is marked as Simly

The CDA is facilitating the visitors
by dispersing many options. The wooded Rest House at the Dam has been
established. It can be booked through its Head Office in Islamabad. Before planning
to stay, you need permission. The intense beauty of the dam is maintained with
the paved green beds, pole lightning, seasonal flowers and benches around the
lake. The superb view is at the top when the nights fall its vale.
